Job Description

This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their DevOps career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while working closely with senior engineers and developers. The DevOps Engineer will assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure, and improving operational efficiency through automation and documentation.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Assist in building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines under guidance
  • from senior DevOps engineers.
  • Support deployment processes across development, staging, and production
  • environments.
  • Help automate repetitive operational tasks using scripts and basic tooling.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Support
  • Provide operational support for infrastructure across On-Prem, AWS, GCP, or OCI
  • environments.
  • Assist with provisioning and maintaining virtual machines, containers, and related
  • resources.
  • Support basic Kubernetes or containerized workloads (where applicable).
  • Monitoring & Reliability
  • Monitor systems, services, and environments to ensure availability,
  • performance, and reliability.
  • Respond to alerts, investigate basic incidents, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with developers to support development, testing, and release
  • cycles.
  • Follow established DevOps practices, processes, and security guidelines.
  • Document configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and runbooks.
  • Help maintain internal knowledge bases and operational guides.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Technical Skills (Basic to Intermediate)
  • Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes or orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI).
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in DevOps and cloud technologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, document work, and ask questions when needed.

Experience & Education

  • 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or related
  • fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
