UI/UX Designer
BeyondAI is seeking a resourceful and passionate UI/UX Designer to join the Product team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing intuitive and effective user experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered digital products.
Job Description
- Design End-to-End User Experiences: Work closely with product management, engineering, and stakeholders to design a comprehensive and effective user experience across all interaction stages.
-
- Collaborate with Design and Development Teams: Work alongside designers and developers to create user-friendly, professional, and impactful UI designs that align with project goals.
-
- Efficiently Engage with Agile Teams: Operate iteratively within Agile team(s) to deliver mockups and specifications for developers, ensuring smooth execution.
-
- Apply Design Best Practices: Establish user experience principles and guidelines for both software and hardware interfaces.
-
- Enhance Performance Based on Feedback: Analyze user testing outcomes and feedback, adjusting as necessary to optimize the experience.
-
- Lead AI-Assisted Design Practices (New): Guide the responsible use of AI tools to accelerate exploration and prototyping, while maintaining quality standards and human design judgment in final decisions.
Technical Skill Requirements
Design & Prototyping Tools
- High proficiency in industry-standard design tools, specifically Figma (the current market leader), with familiarity in Adobe XD or Sketch.
-
- Proven experience contributing to and maintaining Design Systems and component libraries.
-
- Strong capability in interactive prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer, or InVision) to demonstrate micro-interactions and transitions.
AI Fluency
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow (e.g., Figma AI, Uizard, or other AI-assisted concepting tools) to accelerate exploration and generate alternatives faster.
-
- Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated output rather than accept it as-is — strong human design judgment is what differentiates a senior designer in an AI-augmented workflow.
-
- Working knowledge of "prompt-to-prototype" or design-to-code tools (e.g., v0, Lovable) to speed up communication with engineering — increasingly a baseline expectation rather than a nice-to-have in 2026.
-
- Understanding of how to design for AI-native products: handling generative/variable outputs, uncertainty states, and agentic or chat-based experiences.
UX Research & Testing
- Experience conducting and analyzing user research utilizing tools like UserTesting.com, Maze, or Hotjar.
-
- Ability to build clear wireframes, user journeys, information architecture, and structured user flows.
-
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative feedback to confidently iterate on designs.
-
Technical Collaboration & Agile Workflows
- Solid working knowledge of front-end constraints (HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React or Vue.js) to ensure designs are technically feasible.
-
- Comfortable working in collaborative Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira or Asana.
-
- Experience with smooth developer handoff processes and a strong understanding of responsive design across varying screens.
-
Domain & Accessibility Knowledge
- Experience designing across multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android), with exposure to or understanding of hardware/IoT interfaces.
-
- Solid understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design practices — now a baseline market expectation rather than a differentiator.
-
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Background designing for specific high-growth sectors, such as SaaS, E-commerce, Fintech, or IoT/Hardware integrated products.
-
- Advanced Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
-
- Technical Background: Basic front-end development capabilities (ability to write basic HTML/CSS or utilize GitHub) to seamlessly bridge the gap with engineering teams.
-
- Leadership Potential: Experience mentoring junior designers or acting as the designated design lead on specific, cross-functional project squads.
-
- Data Literacy: Familiarity with product analytics software (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics) to track the long-term success of feature rollouts.
-
- AI-General Fluency: Comfort using general-purpose generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Claude) for rapid research synthesis, UX writing/microcopy, and summarizing findings.
