Job Description

This role requires a person to have a keen understanding of the customer's business issues and the resources needed, the goal of uncovering future plans for services and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. This may require meetings via the phone/web and/or onsite travel in order to understand and deliver the solution.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft: Outlook, Word and Excel, and CRM applications
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
  • Superior time management and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Engaging, persuasive sales approach and friendly and personable demeanor.

Essential Functions

  • Planning for and placing phone calls to install base
  • Preparing, presenting and closing quotes
  • Effectively collaborating with Inside Sales Team and Marketing teams to develop Marketing campaigns to install base to increase sales
  • Accurately forecasting deals each month
  • Timely and accurately maintaining CRM software data based on sales activities
  • Provide outstanding customer service both internally and externally, handling all information requests and sales calls promptly and professionally
  • Establish a Top 10 Customer list to focus on for the year
  • Quarterly calls to the top 10 with a specific agenda item like support, product, Company update, Executive introductions
  • Onsite visits

Performance Expectations

  • Minimum of 15 phone calls per day
  • Attain or exceed all defined sales and metric driven quotas and KPIs defined in Incentive Plan
  • Become proficient in our DocLink product within 4-6 months

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Travel

This position will require up to 50% of travel into the territory (local and national) and any corporate sponsored events like trade shows and or skills training, internal sales meeting etc.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or similar field
