Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to support business decision-making and ensure effective financial management.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and accounting activities in accordance with both China GAAP and US GAAP, including reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and producing financial statements.
  • Manage the company's tax affairs, including preparing tax returns, liaising with tax authorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement internal accounting controls to ensure financial accuracy and prevent fraud or errors.
  • Work closely with external auditors to prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on accounting and financial matters, including advising on financial implications of business decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of China GAAP and US GAAP and their application in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience in managing tax affairs and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and prevent fraud or errors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with auditors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or other reputable accounting firm.
  • Commercial experience is a plus.
