Customer Account Manager

Position Overview

This primary role of this position role is to make sure our customers are getting the first-class level of service. This role requires a person to have a keen understanding of the customers business issues and what resources is needed, the goal of uncovering future plans for services and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. This may require meetings via the phone/web and/or onsite travel in order to understand and deliver the solution.

Job Duties/Responsibilities   

  • Planning for and placing phone calls to install base
  • Preparing, presenting, closing quotes.
  • Effectively collaborating with Inside Sales Team and Marketing teams to develop Marketing campaigns to install base to increase sales
  • Accurately forecasting deals each month.
  • Timely and accurately maintaining CRM software data based on sales activities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service both internally and externally, handling all information requests and sales calls promptly and professionally.
    • Establish a Top 10 Customer list to focus on for the year
      • Quarterly calls to the top 10 with a specific agenda item like support, product, Company update, Executive introductions
      • Onsite visit
  • Planning to go onsite to visit a customer
    • What is the current revenue potential
    • What is the future revenue potential
    • An introduction visit to establish a relationship
  • This position will require up to 50% of travel into the territory (local and national) and any corporate sponsored events like trade shows and or skills training, internal sales meeting etc.

 Minimum Qualifications   

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft: Outlook, Word and Excel, and CRM applications
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
  • Superior time management and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. ➢ Engaging, persuasive sales approach ➢ Friendly and personable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or similar field.
This position is located in our Laguna Hills office and is eligible to participate in the company's hybrid 3/2 work model.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is listed below as a yearly salary. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or company stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
Hiring Range
$71,000$75,000 USD
