Program Overview:

The Beyond Limits Summer Internship program offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of commercial software through an immersive experience. Participants will be embedded in our current full-time teams of designers, programmers, and developers to help conceive new concepts, solve real business issues, and work with some of the industry’s top talent.

This internship position will be working with our DockLink engineering team. DocLink is a document management tool dealing with the capture, processing/workflow, integration with external systems and output of a company’s documents. Our product suite encompasses desktop, web, cloud and mobile applications. Beyond Limit’s vision is to leverage DocLink’s document management capabilities as a means to capture data that can then be fed into the Beyond Limits AI engine.

This internship is a F/T role that spans 8-10 weeks over the summer and will run from mid-June through mid-August of 2024. In addition to their projects, participants will gain additional knowledge and networking opportunities through technical speaker series, development workshops, and social events as part of the internship. 

Additionally, candidates should be flexible and adaptable to their work; have the ability to work in a team environment and be highly collaborative and be naturally curious and innovative in solution solving. Please note: This internship role will be at our Tacoma, Washington office.

Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old at time of start.
  • Must be available to work F/T for the entire duration of the program.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university obtaining a bachelors degree or higher with at least one semester or quarter left at time of start
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, and CSS.
  • Must be able to provide own housing and transportation to/from job site throughout the duration of internship assignment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Competitive GPA.
  • Experience with web applications, databases, & distributed systems.
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of machine learning tool sets and/or algorithms.
  • Ability to write clean, effective code and learn new languages quickly where required.
  • Bonus: Past relevant tech internship experience.

The hiring range for this position is listed below and annualized. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or company stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package. In addition, employees (and their families) are offered medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees are also offered basic life, AD&D and disability insurance along with a 401k program, 12 paid holidays, 18 vacation.
